Executive Council Member of the network, Dmitry Brijac, took part in the Ramadan Tent in Moscow, one of the most prominent cultural and humanitarian initiatives held during the holy month in the Russian capital.
The event was held in the parking area next to the memorial mosque at Poklonnaya Gora, where attendees gathered for an open iftar and enjoyed a diverse cultural program featuring welcome speeches and artistic performances by professional national groups, reflecting the richness of cultural diversity and the spirit of coexistence within Russian society.
The Ramadan Tent is organized annually by the Religious Administration of Muslims of Moscow, with the support of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow. Throughout the holy month, it welcomes thousands of visitors in a fully equipped setting that includes a modern kitchen, large screens, professional sound systems, and dedicated volunteers who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Dmitry’s attendance and engagement were also covered by Mir Radio, highlighting his participation in the accompanying cultural and humanitarian activities.
In his remarks, Dmitry emphasized that the Ramadan Tent goes beyond being a religious occasion, serving instead as a refined social platform that strengthens solidarity and builds bridges of trust among communities, underscoring the role of charitable and cultural initiatives in fostering meaningful dialogue in multicultural global cities such as Moscow.
