The deliberate targeting of journalists is a war crime and a blatant violation of all international conventions that guarantee their protection.
The MENA Editors Network strongly condemns this heinous crime and calls on the international community and human rights organizations to bear their responsibilities and take urgent steps to hold Israel accountable for its repeated crimes against Palestinian journalists. We affirm that targeting free press will not prevent the truth from emerging; instead, it will only strengthen the determination to uncover violations and amplify the voices of the victims.
